Yesterday as i was listening to the radio in the car, the DJs announced that they wanted to start a new food fad. They had decided this food fad would be deep fried pumpkin pie. To help spread the word and get people excited (um, i was already excited) they were going to be giving away free slices of deep fried pumpkin pie the next morning at the civic center. Guess where we went this morning....oh yeah, the civic center. Jake wasn't a fan of the pumpkin pie (usually he likes anything that is fried) but he liked the crunchy bits of just batter. Grace loved it ALL. We tried a few bites in the car and saved the rest for when we got home. The whole ride home she was begging for more. When we got home, we enjoyed the rest of our free treats.

We must listen to the same station! I had to laugh when I heard them talking about it.
Matt would probably like that, my mom would, too...me, not so much. Deep fried = yummy. Pumpkin pie = baby food gaggy texture.
I'm glad to hear you resonded to the call of the radio, though...that's always an adventure.
